John Curtis Sloan, age 76, passed away April 16, 2023. He was born October 13, 1946, in Cameron, Missouri to the late Melvin and Doris Korneman Sloan. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Carl Sloan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Linda Sloan; daughters, Tina Dickerson, Shirley Rosenthal, and Tammy Somers; sons, Dean Farnsworth and Robert Preiss; several grandchildren; and brother, Doug Sloan.
John was a cowboy, he loved working with horses and farming. He enjoyed woodworking and was always building something. He served in the Navy for 4 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was very proud of his service to his country.
No services are scheduled at this time as his wishes were to be cremated.
